16th June 2008 - Reminder of Parking Concessions in Priory car park

Car park charges that were implemented by Restormel Borough Council and the St Austell District Chamber of Commerce have now been running since 5th February 2008. We would still like to remind people that this concession will be in place for the forseeable future. Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3pm to 6pm 10p per visit in the Priory car park.

28th July 2008 - MCTi 20 year plan launched

The MCTi Plan was officially launched at Wheal Martyn China Clay Country Park on Friday 25th July 2008. This Community Strategic Action Plan for 2008 to 2030 is for the development and regeneration of St Austell Bay and its surrounding parishes. 14th August 2008 - St Austell leads way on low-carbon development

Contractors working on St Austell's £75m town centre regeneration scheme have introduced a number of innovative ways to reduce carbon output during construction, which have been welcomed by the South West RDA.
