St Austell Produce Market
Get Fresh every Saturday!
As of Saturday 23rd January St Austell will be hosting once again its very successful Local Produce Market situated outside the Market House on Market Street. The Market will be open from 10am to 3pm each Saturday.
The Market was a pilot project for 8 weeks between October and December 2009 after a resident survey showed that a Produce Market was the one thing missing from the town centre. It was opened on the 29th October 2010 by local celebrity Dick Strawbridge and St Austell's mayor Brian Palmer as part of the official White River Place opening celebrations.
There is already a wide selection of producers but would lke to hear from more local producers especially in the China Clay villages. Have you got the "something special" to bring to the Market? Then we would like to hear from you.
